Framing Plans & Details

The structure drawn so a framing crew can build from it and a plan examiner can check it: rafters, joists, headers, ledgers, posts and connections.

  • Joist, rafter and header layouts
  • One detail sheet covers one connection family, such as a deck ledger
  • Formatted so a licensed engineer can review it without redrawing

Which sheets does my project need?

It depends on what your building department asks for. Send the sketch and the address and we tell you, in writing, which sheets to expect before you pay.

Can I order just one sheet?

Yes. A single floor plan from $295 is our most common first order. You can add elevations or framing later, and we reuse the drawings we’ve already made.

Do you stamp or seal the drawings?

No. We’re a drafting service, not a licensed design firm. If your job needs a seal, we say so up front and format the set so a licensed architect or engineer can review it and stamp it.

What if the examiner sends comments?

The Full Permit Set includes one extra round for examiner comments. On other packages, extra rounds are $95 each.

When do I pay?

After you accept the quote, you receive one invoice by email. Pay by ACH, check or card. Final files are released once it’s paid.
